Tibet Autonomous Region donates Rs 1.825 billion to Nepal

The Tibet Autonomous Region has pledged Rs 1,825,000,000 (100 million RMB) in donation to Nepal.

Representatives of the Tibet government and Nepal government on Sunday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the grant assistance in the presence of Finance Secretary Dr Krishna Hari Pushkar.

According to the MoU, the Tibet Autonomous Region will provide Nepal Rs 20 million RMB each year starting 2024 to 2028.

The Tibet Autonomous Region, often shortened to Tibet or Xizang, is an autonomous region of the People's Republic of China.
