Tanzania is batting in the first match against Nepal under the women's four-nation T20 Series underway in Hong Kong. The match is held at the Hong Kong Cricket Club. Tanzania won the toss and batted first. As of now, it made 69 runs at the loss of three wickets in 14 overs.
For Nepal, Sangita Rai took two wickets, and Rubina Chhetri one. This is the first time Tanzania and Nepal are facing each other. Tanzania is ranked 19th and Nepal 21st in the ICC rankings. The four participating countries are hosts Hong Kong, Nepal, Tanzania, and Japan.
