Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has landed in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), leading a Nepali delegation to participate in the 28th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28).
He landed at the Dubai International Airport, Dubai at 1:30 am (Thursday) local time.
Prime Minister Prachanda was received at the Dubai airport by Nepali Ambassador to the UAE Tej Bahadur Chhetri and UAE Ambassador to Nepal Abdullah M. Shamsi.
Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to visit the Nepali embassy in the capital city of Abu Dhabi and hold discussions with the Nepali community today.
In the evening, he will address a program organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dubai Chapter.
The COP28 is taking place in Dubai from November 30 to December 12.
Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to participate in the high-level session of the COP-28 (World Climate Action Summit) to be held from December 1 to 2.
He will address a high-level session on December 2.
