Arjun Ghimire has been appointed as the Chairman of the Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA). Ghimire was the acting Chairman after Bhupendra Bhandari was removed from the post through an ordinance.
The decision to appoint the Chairman was taken by the cabinet meeting held recently. His oath-taking will be held at the Ministry of Information and Communications in a while, a source at the Ministry said.
Ghimire had served as the Director at the Economic Analysis and Consumer Protection Division of the NTA for a long time.
