A suspicious vehicle has also been found parked in front of the house of Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa.
SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, the spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said that information has been received that the road has been blocked in front of Thapa's residence in Ratopool.
"We have just received information. A team has been deployed to the scene," SP Bhattarai told Nepalkhabar. A vehicle, BAC number 9575, has been parked in front of Thapa's house.
Earlier, vehicles were also parked in front of the offices of Kantipur Publications, Onlinekhabar, and Himalaya Television. Vehicles have also been found in front of Bhatbhateni in Anamnagar.
The police have removed all these vehicles with the help of a crane and taken them to the Valley Traffic Police Office. SP Bhattarai said that an investigation is underway to find out who the vehicles belong to and why they were parked.
