NEPSE plunges 18.06 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has plunged by 18.06 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

The benchmark index spiraled down by 51 points in the period of three days to settle at 1858.53 today. The index was at 1909 points on Monday.

Even though the index decreased today, its turnover went up amounting to Rs 13,200,000 today. The share prices of 32 companies increased while that of 201 companies nosedived. The share prices of Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Ltd., increased by Rs 5.63 percent, the highest of all.

Similarly, the share prices of six companies have remained stable.

The prices of three companies –Vijaya Laghubitta, Mountain Energy, and United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited involved in today’s transaction have witnessed a negative circuit break. Their prices have gone down by 10 percent.
