Medical practitioner Durga Prasai, who has been staging an anti-republic campaign, is now making preparations to announce a government under his leadership.
The presidium led by Prasai has said (that) Prasai will announce a new parallel government called ‘Nagarik Sarkar’ on December 16, which will focus its programs against the traditional political parties.
With this, the Prasai Group’s demonstration, which started in Kathmandu on November 23, will now spread to the district to the ward level across the country, the presidium has said.
Hari Karki, a member of the presidium, said Durga Prasai will become the Prime Minister of the Nagarik Sarkar.
“Durga Prasai will become the Prime Minister of the Nagarik Sarkar,” said Karki, “Discussions are underway to elect the ministers in the cabinet of the Nagarik Sarkar.”
