Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has returned home after participating in the 28th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-28).
Prime Minister Dahal, who flew to UAE on Wednesday, returned home today after wrapping up his five-day program to the COP-28.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Purna Bahadur Khadka, Speaker Devraj Ghimire among others welcomed Dahal at the TIA.
Upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), a press conference is taking place to inform about his visit, currently, the Prime Minister's Secretariat said.
To participate in the COP28, Prime Minister Prachanda had reached Dubai, UAE, on November 29, leading a Nepali delegation.
Addressing the COP-28 conference on Saturday, Prime Minister Prachanda said that “injustice against Nepal should be stopped."
Prime Minister Prachanda also conducted a round-table meeting with the heads of state and governments of the mountainous country on Saturday. He also met with United Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Sunday.
