Foreign Minister Dr Rana calls on her Romanian counterpart in Canada

A bilateral meeting was held between Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and her Romanian counterpart Luminița-Teodora Odobescu in Toronto, Canada on Friday.

During the meeting, bilateral relations and several issues of mutual interests between the two countries were discussed, Minister Deuba's secretariat said.

Foreign Minister Dr. Rana is currently in Canada to participate in the meeting of women foreign ministers held in Toronto.

In the meeting, Minister Dr. Rana requested the Romanian government and investors to invest in Nepal's hydropower and other sectors.

On the occasion, Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita expressed interest in working with Nepal in the fields of water resource management, tourism, and education.

The issue of building a bilateral consultation mechanism between the two countries was also discussed during the meeting. It was shared.
