With Uttam Magar’s half century, Nepal set a target of 153 runs for Pakistan in the second match of the ACC U-19 Asia Cup on Friday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the ICC Academy Cricket Ground in Dubai, Nepal notched up 152 runs losing all wickets in 47.2 overs.
Uttam Magar topped the score with 51 runs including three fours and two sixes off 76 deliveries before being caught by Amir Hassan. Similarly, Dipesh Kandel scored 31 runs including two fours and one six off 59 balls while Arjun Kumal contributed 21 runs. The other batsmen could not score double-digit runs.
On the bowling side, Mohammad Zeeshan grabbed the highest six wickets including one maiden conceding 19 runs, followed by Amir Hassan with two wickets. Similarly, Ubaid Shah and Ali Asfand claimed one wicket each for Pakistan.
