Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said the 'Nepal Pukar' plays a significant role to inform people about NC's activities.

President Deuba said it while releasing the newspaper 'Nepal Pukar' amidst a program organized at party central office, Sanepa, on Sunday.

"I believe the 'Nepal Pukar' will be popular among people. It helps build people's views on NC in addition to spreading party messages," Deuba viewed.

On the occasion, Vice President of the party and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dhanraj Gurung, said Nepal is currently facing dearth of moral politics, so a special edition of newspaper on 'good governance' is essential. "It is imperative for us to change culture and political trend. Poverty, disease, and inadequate education are our enemies," he reminded and urged all to clean and reinforce politics accordingly.

Similarly, General Secretary Gagan Thapa said bad governance has blighted citizens, so the 'Nepal Pukar' can spread right message to the people by analyzing the character, event and culture that foment bad governance.

Joint General Secretary of the party, Umakant Chaudhary, believed that the newspaper would be useful to spread ideological message of the NC.

Also speaking on the occasion were leaders Gopal Man Shrestha, Minendra Rijal, Bhim Dhungana, and Professor Purushottam Dahal.
