A meeting convened by Shekhar Koirala group of Nepali Congress is taking place at Anupam Foodland in Battisputali.
Shekhar Koirala, Dr. Minendra Rijal, Minister Surendra Acharya, MP Sunil Sharma, Chandra Bhandari, Vice President Dhanraj Gurung, Bal Bahadur KC, Arjun Narasingha KC and Jagadish Chandra KC have arrived at the meeting.
General Secretary Gagan Thapa, who is said to be dissatisfied with Koirala, is also participating in the meeting.
Leader Koirala on Tuesday held a three-hour long talks to convince Thapa to participate in the meeting, sources have said.
The Shekhar camp leaders have gathered at Battisputali to discuss the Congress Mahasamiti meeting scheduled for the first week of January and contemporary politics.
