The names of six proposed Supreme Court Justices have been unanimously approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC).
PHC Chair Pashupati Shumsher Rana informed that the names of all the judges were unanimously approved by the Committee meeting held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday morning.
The names of Abdul Aziz Muslim, Balkrishna Dhakal, Mahesh Sharma Paudel, Saranga Subedi, Sunil Pokharel and Tek Prasad Dhungana were recommended by the Judicial Council as proposed judges of the Supreme Court.
After a week-long hearing on the complaints against them, all the recommended Justices were unanimously approved by the Committee.
Following the recommendation by the JC, the hearing about them started since December 10 in the parliamentary committee.
