The Ministry of Finance, has released details of financial aid provided between mid-July to mid-December 2023. These figures show that a total of 995,935 rupees were disbursed for President Paudel's medical care.
The Finance Ministry states that the funding was doled out in accordance with the President and Vice President's Remuneration and Benefits Act 2074.
Sources confirmed that the funds were issued to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers from the Finance Ministry and used for the President's treatment.

Following a referral from the TU Teaching Hospital, Paudel was earlier flown to AIIMS for specialist care.
