10-day workshop organized for Nepali MPs in Beijing conclude

A 10-day workshop organized for Nepali parliamentarians by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) in the capital city of Beijing, China has concluded.

Seventeen members of the Federal Parliament of Nepal and three employees of the Federal Parliament Secretariat participated in the workshop organized by AIBO under the Ministry of Commerce of China.

At the closing ceremony, Vice President of AIBO Chen Runyun expressed his belief that the program organized for the law makers of Nepal was fruitful.

"We have just started the workshop", Chen said, "We will continue the experience exchange program in the coming days."

Hitraj Pandey, a member of the Nepali delegation and the chief whip of the CPN (Maoist Center), mentioned that China has become an observation hub for the world due to the exemplary success achieved under the leadership of President Xi Jinping.

Emphasizing on the implementation of agreements made in the past, he expressed his happiness that Nepal has become a member of BRI.

Nepali Congress MP Ram Nath Adhikari, CPN (UML) MP Damodar Paudel, Rastriya Swatantra Party Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar, RPP MP Anisha Nepali, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chief Whip Metmani Chaudhary, Janata Samajbadi Party MP Prakash Adhikari and Nepali Ambassador to China Bishnu Pukar Shrestha delivered their views in the closing program.

After completing their visit, the Nepali parliamentary team is returning to Kathmandu on Saturday.
