Ruling coalition’s four candidates file nomination in Bagmati

Four candidates have filed nominations for the elections of the National Assembly representing the ruling alliance.

Two from the Nepali Congress and one each from CPN (Maoist Center) and CPN (Unified Socialist) filed candidacies for the NA elections a while ago.

Nepali Congress leader Bishnu Kumari Pudashaini filed her nomination under female category and Jit Jung Basnet filed his nomination from the other category.

Similarly, Maoist Center’s Shree Krishna Adhikari from disabled category and Unified Socialist’s Ghana Shyam Rijal Bishwakarma from Dalit category have filed nominations.

The National Assembly election is scheduled to be held on January 25. The six-year term of 20 members of the NA is going to expire on March 3.
