Identity issue will also be resolved, asserts NC leader Sitaula

Nepali Congress former general secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said the issue of identity emerging at present will be resolved as the drawn-out conflict was brought to an end through mutual understanding.

Talking to the people's representatives of Bhojpur today in connection with the National Assembly election to be held on January 25, he said discussions would be held on the topic of identity after the National Assembly election is over.

"Such a big conflict and struggle was resolved. Mutual understanding and talks are necessary to seek solution to this issue of identity. The National Assembly will get complete shape after the election on January 25. We will initiate discussions to find a solution to the identity issue. Once the National Assembly gets a complete shape," he said.

Leader Sitaula urged the voters to vote for the leaders of political parties working in favor of the constitution and the people. "Give your votes to the parties in the ruling coalition that is standing on the side of the federal democratic republic," he said, adding that understanding was needed among all the parties for dealing with challenges facing the nation today.
