Constitutional commission office-bearers furnish suggestions on Education Bill

The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has solicited suggestions on the Education Bill from seven various constitutional commissions today.

National Dalit Commission Chair Devraj BK, the Indigenous Nationalities Commission Chair Ram Bahadur Thapa, the Madhesi Commission Chair Bijaya Kumar Datta, the Tharu Commission Chair Bishnu Prasad Chaudhary, the National Inclusion Commission Chair Dr Ram Krishna Timilsina, the National Women Commission Chairperson Kamala Parajuli and Muslim Commission Chair Samim Miya Ansari called for further refining the bill.

They suggested that attention should be paid to include in the bill and in the curriculum topics on promoting patriotism, indigenous skills and knowledge and morality and integrity, gender equality and inclusion.
