Cabinet recommends President to call winter session on Feb 5

The Council of Ministers has recommended President Ramchandra Paudel to call a winter session of the federal parliament on February 5.

A cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers on Monday decided to recommend the President to call the winter session at 4 pm on February 5, Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma said.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ called the cabinet meeting following close consultations with other ministers.

Discussions on the upcoming budget and policies and programs were held prior to the cabinet meeting.
