The ruling coalition has won both the seats of the National Assembly from Madhesh Province.
Ananda Prasad Dhungana of Nepali Congress and Puja Chaudhary of Janata Samajbadi Party have been elected from Madhes Province.
The winning Congress candidate Dhungana got 7,370 votes while JSP’s Chaudhary got 7 thousand 929 votes.
All the votes of 136 local units of Madhes Province were cast. Out of 107, 106 provincial lawmakers cast their votes.
