CPN (Maoist Center) leader Sabitri Malla has won the election as a member of the National Assembly from Karnali Province.
Sabitri received a total of 3,722 votes (1,537 votes from 29 province lawmakers and 2,185 votes from 115 local representatives).
Similarly, UML candidate Bimala Kumari Shahi got 1,362 votes (583 votes from 11 province lawmakers and 779 votes from 41 local representatives)
However, it is yet to officially be announced by the Election Commission.
