Nepal has received a 146-run target from Afghanistan in the cricket tournament of the ICC U-19 World Cup on Friday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium in East London, South Africa, Afghanistan notched up 145 runs losing all wickets in 40.1 overs.
AM Ghazanfar topped the score with 37 runs including four fours and three sixes followed by captain Naseer Khan Maroofkhil with 31 runs while Faridoon Dawoodzai contributed 20 runs for Afghanistan.
To restrict the opponent to a low score, Aakash Chand grabbed the highest five wickets followed by Dipesh Kandel with two wickets while Tilak Bhandari, Subash Bhandari and Gulsan Jha claimed one wicket each for Nepal.
