Nepal's Shinta Mani Mustang (SMM), A Bensley Collection, has been listed among the ‘22 best hotels for 2024’ in National Geographic's ‘Best of the World’ list.

Expressing happiness at SMM being listed among the best hotels in Asia, Namgyal Sherpa, CEO of Sherpa Hospitality Group, which manages SMM, said, "This achievement is not just significant for us at Shinta Mani Mustang but for the entire nation."

"Guests at Shinta Mani's all-inclusive lodge are paired with guides who take them adventuring amid the dramatic mountain and desert landscapes of Nepal's Lower Mustang region. Experiences include biking to centuries-old Buddhist monasteries and trekking to high-altitude Dumba Lake,” describes the National Geographic.

The building is made of Baglung Galkot stone and glass which resembles a traditional Nepali house and that the guest house is decorated with carpets and antiques creating texture of a tiger skin.

The 60-seat Nilgiri restaurant serves dishes such as Himalayan yak momos and Tibetan thukpa that rely on ingredients from local farms, according to the Nat Geo.

Shinta Mani is a hotel operated in Jomsom by Sherpa Hospitality under the Yeti Group. It is a famous Cambodia-based brand initiated by an American citizen.
