Nepal is taking on India in its final Super Six match of the ICC U-19 World Cup on Friday.
The match will be held at Mangaung Oval Cricket Ground in Bloemfontein, South Africa at 1:45 pm.
Already crashed out of ICC U-19 World Cup, with today’s match against India, Nepal will formally end its journey to the World Cup.
Nepal and India are meeting for the third time. Earlier, they had met in 2016. Similarly, Nepali and Indian youth teams had met in the Asia Cup in last December. Nepal had lost to India in the Asia Cup.
In the first match of the Super Six, Nepal had lost to Bangladesh by five wickets while India had registered a mammoth 114-run win against New Zealand.
If India defeated Nepal in today’s match, it will book its berth in the semifinal as a lead team member.
Similarly, top two teams from Group A and B will make it to the semi-finals from the Super Six.
