A meeting of the House of Representatives under the federal parliament is taking place today. It will take place at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar at 11 am.
Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dhanraj Gurung is scheduled to present the Anti-Money Laundering and Business Promotion Amendment Bill along with the report of the Human Rights Committee in the HoR meeting.
In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, the top leaders of all the parties represented in the Parliament will present their views on the Bill before endorsement, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
Similarly, the House meeting will also pass a condolence motion on the death of Keshab Kumar Budhathoki, a central member of the Nepali Congress and former minister.
Budhathoki, who was a member of the Constituent Assembly in 2064 BS and 2070 BS, passed away on Monday night.
