Nepal is batting against Canada after winning the toss under the ODI cricket series at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Thursday.
Nepal chose to bat first after winning the toss in the match that began at 9:30 am. Nepal has notched up 123 runs losing four wickets including Kushal Bhurtel so far. Bhurtel hit 62 runs including nine fours and one six off 58 balls.
The team for the match led by Rohit Paudel, the captain of the Nepali national cricket team, was announced on Wednesday.
Nepal's head coach Monty Desai has given opportunities to some young and new players in the series against Canada. Canada is coached by Pubudu Dassanayake. Pubudu is also a former coach of Nepali cricket team.
As part of the series, Nepal is competing against Canada today, February 10, and 12 at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
