Namibia defeated Nepal by two wickets in the cricket match of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.
Chasing the 169-run target set by Nepal at the TU Cricket Ground on Wednesday, Namibia reached it in 40 overs losing eight wickets.
Captain Gerhard Erasmus scored a half-century with 52 runs including eight fours and two sixes off 56 runs followed by JJ Smit with 34 not-out runs while Michael van Lingen contributed 31 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
Kushal Bhurtel took three wickets while Dipendra Singh Airee, Rohit Paudel, Lalit Rajbanshi and Kushal Malla claimed one wicket reach.
Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton and Bernard Scholtz grabbed four wickets while Jack Brassell and Gerhard Erasmus claimed one wicket each for Namibia.
