A meeting of the Election Commission (EC) held on Sunday decided to hold elections in Ilam-2 and Province Assembly Constituency-1 in Bajhang district on April 27.
The posts are lying vacant, after Subas Nembang, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Ilam-2, and Prithvi Bahadur Singh, a member of the Province Assembly Constituency-1, Bajhang, passed away.
The date has been set in consultation with the government, the EC has said.
