High Court Patan issued an interim order in favor of Bhatbhateni Developers P. Ltd. operated by entrepreneur Min Bahadur Gurung on Tuesday.

A single bench of Judge of High Court Patan Munendra Prasad Awasthi issued an interim order not to remove the infrastructure of Bhatbhateni Supermarket which is erected on the Land of Lalita Niwas immediately.

This decision has come as a relief to Min Bahadur and his relative Sarala Ghale Gurung.

Earlier, Kathmandu Metropolitan City had issued a notice ordering Gurung to vacate the Bhatbhateni infrastructure in line with the order of Special Court.

A writ petition had been filed at High Court Patan seeking stay order against the notice of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Hearing on the writ filed by Min Bahadur Gurung, the High Court Patan issued a stay order, halting the immediate removal of the structure.

This ruling grants the petitioner a temporary respite and time to present their case before the court.
