Chinese Ambassador Chen pays courtesy call on FM Saud

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud.

Held at the Ministery of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday evening, the two leaders dwelled on various aspects of bilateral cooperation between Nepal and China.

Taking to Twitter, Chinese Ambassador Chen said, "Great pleasure meeting with Hon. FM N.P. Saud, with discussion on furthering bilateral friendly cooperation between China and Nepal."

Chinese Ambassador Chen is active in holding meetings with leaders of Nepal, of late. Earlier, he held a courtesy meetinig with senior leader and former Prime Minister, Jhalanath Khanal on Tuesday.

Chen had arrived in Nepal to assume his duties as the new Chinese Ambassador to Nepal on January 8, 2023, succeeding Ambassador Hou Yanqi.
