All the mountain flights departing from Kathmandu today have been canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions that began early Sunday morning.
Mountainous regions have been overcast with thick clouds since early morning forcing the concerned companies to cancel mountain flights, airlines companies said.
However, the international flight services have been operating without any interruptions, according to the TIA.
Domestic flights, however, began a gradual resumption from 9 am, with those scheduled to take off in the early morning being prioritized, according to TIA officials.
However, the flight service from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar in Sankhuwasabha has not resumed yet. Tumlingtar is covered with thick clouds, currently.
According to the Office of Buddha Air, the flight from Kathmandu to Timlingtar has been disrupted since early morning today.
Similarly, almost all the mountain flights have been canceled due to thick clouds covering most of the mountain peaks.
