Ruling CPN (UML) has urged the other political parties to extend support to the coalition government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
The 29th Secretariat meeting of the UML held at the central party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur today decided to request the other political parties to support the Prachanda-led coalition government, said party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel.
The coalition government comprising five political parties under the leadership of Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda has been formed to safeguard the national interest independence, said Pokharel. The political parties have been urged to cooperate with the other political parties, accordingly.
“To achieve political stability and sustainable development, the UML must play a proactive role, fostering hope and trust among the Nepali people,” said General Secretary Pokharel.
Similarly, the meeting has also called a meeting of general convention representatives for April 20 and 21. It has decided to hold a special program on the party's establishment day on April 23, said Pokharel.
