Julian ALVAREZ doubled the score in the 67th minute. Argentina, which faced a defeat at the hands of Saudi Arabia in their first group stage match, emerged the group winner.
Even though Poland lost to Argentina, they also reached the round of 16. Despite win in the other match, Mexico failed to reach the the knockout stage based on goal differences.
