CPN (Unified Socialist) finalizes candidates for FPTP election

The CPN (Unified Socialist) has finalized the candidates for the first-past-the–post election to the House of Representatives.

Out of 165 constituencies from the alliance, the CPN (Unified Socialist) got 19 seats for the FPTP election and finalized all the candidates, said General-Secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal. Party Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal will file his candidacy from Rautahat-1 and leader Jhalanath Khanal from Ilam-1.

Similarly, Vice-Chairperson and Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey will file his candidacy from Dhading-1, Deputy General-Secretary and Party Publicity Department Chief, Jagannath Khatiwada, from Udayapur-2, Kisan Shrestha from Bara-4, Jeevan Ram Shrestha from Kathmandu-8, Krishna Lal Maharjan from Lalitpur-2, Birodh Khatiwada from Makawanpur-2, Shreenath Baral from Kaski-2, Ram Kumari Jhankri from Gulmi-2, Som Prasad Pandey from Palpa-2, Raju Gurung from Rupandehi-2, Metmani Chaudhary from Dang-1, Prakash Jwala from Salyan, Dhan Bahadur Budha from Dolpa, Ambar Thapa from Dailekh-1, Bhanu Bhakta Joshi from Bajhang and Prem Bahadur Ale from Doti.

Likewise, homework is on for the selection of candidates for Province Assembly members, according to the party.
