The 20th edition of the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) 2022) will start in Kathmandu on December 8, the organizers have said.
The five-day show will kick off with the premier of Baghko Bangara (The Tiger’s Jaw) produced by the Herne Katha team.
Similarly, the festival will conclude with a special screening of Fly From Everest, a documentary about an Australian paraglider who flies off Everest to raise funds to eradicate polio.
The organizers say KIMFF 2022 will screen more than 60 films from 30 countries at the City Hall and Nepal Tourism Board in the capital.
“We are fully back to physical screenings after two years of hosting an online hybrid event due to COVID pandemic,” reads a statement issued by the company.
KIMFF will screen documentaries, fiction, shorts, experimental films and animations among others. The show will run until December 12.
