Leaders of four political parties of Nepal are going to visit India at the invitation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
According to sources, UML Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal, Maoist Center Deputy General Secretary Matrika Yadav, Shishir Khanal from Rastriya Swatantra Party are set to visit India. Main opposition Nepali Congress is yet to finalize its representative.
BJP has invited four political parties of Nepal to India to observe the elections taking place in India, sources have said.
Matrika Yadav has confirmed to have received invitation from BJP. “BJP has invited four political parties to attend the program starting May 1," said Yadav.
The invited leaders will go to India on May 1 and return to Nepal on May 5.
BJP, under the Know BJP campaign, will take the Nepali leaders to a constituency in Chhatisgarh. The elections have started in India.
