Price of gold and silver up

The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,400 per tola on Friday, said the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

According to the Association, the price of hallmark gold is set at Rs 137,200 and that of worked gold at Rs 136,550 today.

Similarly, the price of silver has gone up by Rs 20 per tola to reach at Rs 1,675.

The hallmark gold was sold for Rs 135,800 per tola and the worked gold for Rs 135,150 yesterday.

Likewise, the silver was traded for Rs 1,655 per tola on Thursday.

The gold is being sold for US $ 2,335 per ounce in the international market, agencies have reported.
