Hong Kong-based Bore Group to invest Rs 1.75 bln in Nepal’s hotel sector

The Bore Group based in Hong Kong is set to invest 1.75 billion rupees in the hotel sector in Lumbini Province in collaboration with Saakh Group of Nepal.

These two groups have signed an agreement to invest in the hotel business in the investment summit held in Kathmandu.

According to the agreement, the Bore Group will invest 100 million RMB in the resort at Gorusinge in Kapilvastu.

Saakh Group Chairman Kiran Saakh and Boar Group Chairperson Li Ping signed and exchanged agreement papers in the presence of Finance Minister Barshaman Pun and Investment Board Chief Executive Officer Sushil Bhatta.

Kiran Saakh said, “In a move solidifying their partnership, two groups inked a deal at the Third Investment Summit. This agreement outlines their joint investment in a forthcoming hotel project.”

The company has already purchased 22 bighas of land for the construction of the resort. The resort will have 70 rooms equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities. It will be built at Gorusinge targeting domestic and foreign tourists who come to visit Lumbini.
