Ashok Rai-led JSP’s Pradeep and Hasina sworn in as ministers

JSP's Pradeep Yadav taking oath as the Minister for Health and Population from President Ramchandra Paudel on Monday.

Pradeep Yadav and Hasina Khan who were appointed as ministers from Janata Samajbai Party (JSP) led by Ashok Rai have taken the oath of office and secrecy.

President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath to Yadav as the Minister of Health and Population amidst a ceremony organized at Sheetal Niwas on Monday evening.

Similarly, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ administered the oath to Hasina as the Minister of State for Health and Population.

Prime Minister Dahal inducted a minister and a state minister in his cabinet from JSP led by Rai after Upendra Yadav quit the government.

JSP-N led by Upendra Yadav pulled out of the government earlier in the day today.

Incumbent Minister for Forest and Environment Nawal Kishor Sah joined the Rai faction following the split of JSP-N.
