NC decides to allow President to announce govt’s policies and programs in parliament

Main opposition Nepali Congress has decided to allow the President to announce the policies and programs of the government in the joint sitting of the federal parliament today.

A parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the NC held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday morning took a decision to this effect, according to an NC lawmaker privy to the meeting.

The NC’s PP meeting is currently underway at Singha Durbar. The NC PP Working Committee meeting had taken place prior to this meeting. 

President Ramchandra Paudel will address the joint meeting of the federal parliament at 3:00 pm to announce the government's policies and programs for the fiscal year 2081/082 BS.
