President Paudel has presented policies and programs for fiscal year 2081/082 BS at the joint meeting of federal parliament on Tuesday.
Unveiling the policies and programs, President Paudel said the policies and programs have been prepared in line with the 16th Five-Year Plan in order to ensure good governance, social justice and create employment opportunities in the country.
Paudel further said the citizens under the poverty line will be identified and a scientific scheme will be introduced to uplift them economically. The projects which are already in operation but not yielding any outputs will be will be taken forward in accordance with the public-private partnership model.
The national pride-projects will be expedited and organic farming will be promoted.
Similarly, a Decade-long Agriculture Plan will be introduced with the aim of multiplying growth and uplifting the living standard of farmers.
