16th Five-Year Plan sets target of 7.3 % economic growth and US $2,351 per capita income

The 16th Five-Year Plan has been made public after it was endorsed by the Council of Ministers.

According to the 16th Fifth-Year Plan, the economic growth is projected to reach at 7.3 percent in the fiscal year 2085/086.

The current economic growth rate for the FY 080/081 is 3.9 percent. Similarly, the economic growth rate is projected to be at 3.9 percent in fiscal year 2080/81, 6 percent at FY 081/82, and 6.6 percent in  FY 082/83 and 7.4 percent in FY 083/084, 7.9 percent in FY 084/85 and 7.3 in 085/086.

In average, the economic growth rate of the 16th Five-Year Plan is projected to remain at 7.1 percent.

Similarly, the Fifth-Year Plan has set a target of US$ 2,351 in per capita income from the current US $ 1,456.
