Light rainfall is taking place this morning in one or two places of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, with partial to normal rainfall in remaining parts of the country. This is due to the monsoon, which is still active in the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The weather this afternoon will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country, with a possibility of light to moderate rains at some places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, tonight, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in Koshi province and hilly parts of the rest of the provinces.
Referring to the possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, the Department has, in its morning bulletin, appealed to the people in and around the coastal areas to remain alert.
