Nepal lost to Scotland by three wickets in a cricket match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 held at the United Cricket Club Ground, in the capital city Windhoek in Namibia on Sunday.
Chasing the 138-run target set by Nepal, Scotland reached it in 32.1 overs losing seven wickets.
Christopher McBride topped the score with 43 runs including seven fours off 47 balls. Similarly, Brandon McMullen hit 32 not out runs while Michael Leask contributed 22.
In reply, Lalit Rajbanshi, Gulsan Jha and Sagar Dhakal took two wickets each for Nepal.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched up 137 runs in 40.1 overs losing all wickets.
Gulsan Jha made the highest 25 runs followed by Gyanendra Malla with 25 runs while Arjun Saud contributed 18 runs.
To restrict Nepal, Scotland's Chris Sole took the highest three wickets followed by Mark Watt with two wickets while Michael Leask, Safyaan Sharif and Brandon McMullen grabbed one wicket each.
