Gold, silver lose luster

The price of gold has gone down by Rs 1,800 per tola today (Friday).

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Delears Association (FENEGOSIDA), the hallmark gold is being sold for Rs 136,900 and worked gold for Rs 136,250 per tola.

The price of hallmark and worked gold was set for Rs 138,700 and Rs 138,050 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver has gone down by Rs 10 per tola. With the new price adjustment, the silver price is set for Rs 1,855 per tola today.

The bullion is being sold for US $2,337 per ounce and Silver for US $30 in the international markets, agencies have reported.
