The much-awaited ICC Men's World Cup is taking place in the United States of America from today.
To be jointly hosted by America and West Indies, the World Cup will run for a month.
Host American elected to field first after winning the toss at Grand Prairie Stadium, Dallas in the inaugural match of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The match started at 6:15 am (according to Nepali time.)
America and Canada both are debuting in the World Cup.
This is the first time America is hosting the mega event of the ICC.
On the other hand, West Indies had already hosted a 50-over World Cup in 2007 and T20 World Cup in 2010.
Similarly, it has also organized the ICC Women's T20 World Cup two times.
