Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has filed his nomination from his home district Dadeldhura, becoming a candidate to the House of Representatives (HoR) for the seventh time now.
Deuba filed his candidacy through his representative for the elections to the HoR on Sunday afternoon.
Similarly, NC central member Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, the wife of Prime Minister Deuba, filed a nomination on behalf of Deuba through a letter of power, informed Dilli Raj Joshi, the vice president of Nepali Congress Dadeldhura District Working Committee.
According to Joshi, Arzu had reached Dadeldhura on Saturday evening itself to file the nomination. Deuba had first been elected to the HoR in the general elections in 2048 BS.
He is getting elected as the member to the HoR in all the general elections held afterwards.
