Gold price decreases by Rs 4,000 per tola

The price of gold has dropped by Rs 4,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold is set at Rs 141,000 per tola today while the worked gold is being traded at Rs 140,300 per tola. On Friday, the price of yellow metal (hallmark) was Rs 145,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has declined by Rs 75 per tola on Sunday compared to Friday, to be traded at Rs 1,825 per tola.
