Some campaigners and locals have staged a demonstration against the Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s plan to prohibit vehicles on New Road.
The locals holding placards on Wednesday lined up along the pavement of road and demonstrated peacefully against the KMC's plan to make New Road vehicle-free zone.
They have dubbed the KMC’s plan to ban vehicles is nothing but a conspiracy demanding that they be allowed to use their vehicles on New Road without any hassles.
