Yeti International Nepali Film Award is set to be organized in London, the capital city of the United Kingdom, on August 31.
While the Yeti Nepali Association, UK, will organize the program to promote and advertise Nepali films, the Sagiksha Film International Pvt. Ltd will manage it to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.
Three best films out of those screened between April 14, 2023 and June 21, 2024 will be selected, the organizer has said at a press meet held in Kathmandu on June 28.
The jury of the YINFA, 2024 is comprised of Sunil Thapa as jury coordinator, while Gauri Malla and Ujjwal Ghimire are the members.
Initiated by then Crown Prince Birendra Bir Bikram Shah, Yeti Nepali Association, UK had been established in 1960 under the chairmanship of Pashupati Shamsher Rana.
The award distribution ceremony will be graced by Bhuwan KC as the chief guest, the chairman of the Films Development Board.
